The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate in Itire-Ikate LCDA, Daniel Olufemi, has said that his tutelage under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will translate to grassroots development, once he emerges victorious at the Saturday, July 12, 2025, local government election.
Olufemi made this disclosure while in a chat with newsmen after an official visit of the APC chairmanship and councillorship candidates of Itire-Ikate LCDA to their leader, Hon. Mrs. Mosunmola Sangodara, at her office in the Lagos State House of Assembly complex, Alausa, Ikeja.
According to Olufemi, there are many goodies stored up for the Itire Ikate electorates once they vote him in as Chairman.
“I have a highly revered mentor and father who is none or other but our President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I had the privilege of working at close calls with him and that really gave me ample opportunity to under study his grasp of grassroots politics and I dare say it has been a blessing for me before.
“Asiwaju is my mentor, and the people of Itire Ikate can trust that they will have good dividends of democracy right from my assumption of office. Before now, I have made my contribution to our community.
“Much more should be expected from my stable, along with my able team, with whom we shall bring about effective governance.
“In the Itire Ikate Saturday election and the landslide victory to be recorded will be a testament to the greater good come 2027, because I am sure we will deliver maximally for Asiwaju.
Olufemi, however, described his host, Hon. Sangodara, as a true mother, whose counsels are always reassuring and sincere in all instances, adding that the courtesy call was in appreciation of her immense contributions to the polity of the area.
“We’ve learnt a lot from the leadership prowess of our Amazon Hon. Mrs. Sangodara and can only build upon the good legacies laid.
“She is indeed a good listener and does often come through for us when the need arises.”
